About the Consortium

Consortium Partners

The James River TMDL established a goal to restore almost 70,000 acres of riparian buffers, but only 11% of this goal has been achieved. To meet this goal, there is a great need for organizations to collaborate and leverage resources.

I have found great value in getting out of the office with partners in the Consortium for workshops and field days. We are able to learn so much from this direct exposure to other professionals and by seeing projects that have been implemented on the ground. I'm always amazed by the informal and spontaneous conversations that happen away from our desks, and how they help us discover areas of overlap in our work and new opportunities for collaboration.
