The Consortium Annual Report is here! So many things to celebrate from our collective work July 2023-June 2024. The report contains a letter from the convener and note from the coordinator, updates from our Planning, Implementation, Targeting and Outreach, and Knowledge Network teams, a highlight of the Virginia Riparian Plant Guide, and the Watershed Implementation Plan progress update. We are so excited for all this year has in store!

“To continue reaching our vision of “Growing partnerships to create healthy streamside ecosystems for clean water in the James River today and tomorrow,” the Consortium dug into this question: “What does it take for a collaborative to be resilient?” We developed a Resilient Collaborative Model that builds on our foundation and stabilizes our core functions, remains open to innovation through testing out strategies through new partnerships, and lets go of limited strategies and focuses on sustaining successful ones. And at the heart of all of that is relationships. As you explore ways you can support our shared vision, remember to take time to build deeper relationships within your team, with partners, community members, and with our riparian forests.
